It is unconstitutional, to make it mandatory, for people to pay for car insurance. I’m a good driver and haven’t had an accident or a speeding ticket in more than 20 years. Over those 20 years I paid more than 000 in insurance. If I do get in an accident, insurance Company will not even pay as much as I paid them. I think it’s unconstitutional to be forced to pay car insurance and would like to fight it in court. Scientists told the car companies if they made a car go faster than 10 mph, people would be injured and killed by them. When they lowered the speed limit to 55 it saved 10000 lives. I believe insurance companies are lobbying to have higher speed limits, so they can force people to purchase insurance. If speed limits were 10 mph, no one would need insurance and no one would die or be injured in car crashes. I have more money in the bank than my insurance company would pay, if I had an accident. Can I be my own insurance carrier? I heard you could put up a bond or something to cover yourself instead of having insurance. My father was born on a farm in 1914 in Detroit, they had dirt roads and horses. It’s not my fault I can not use a horse for transportation like my father did. Should I sue to get out of paying car insurance or simply wait until they give me a ticket for driving without insurance and fight it in court then?
